I had an amazing experience here! I am gluten free. I have never eaten somewhere that went as far as The Standard to be sure I did not get any gluten. They went above and beyond!! The food was great and I didn't have any gluten! I would highly recommend this restaurant!!

We stumbled upon this restaurant after a visit to the zoo. We are staying in Kentucky for a week on vacation and have ventured into Ohio twice. This is the best meal we've had the entire trip. My wife loved her rice bowl with chicken. I tried it. It's very good but also spicy. I had the Banh mi sandwich which was also good. The meat was a little tough to bite through but not terribly so. Still a good flavor and texture. The potato skins were just ok. The staff was very helpful and friendly. No complaints other than the parking situation is a bit tight but manageable. Definitely go give it a try if you are in the neighborhood.

As a person who spent 13 yrs in the restaurant business it's difficult to impress me with food and atmosphere. The Standard IS that restaurant. If you are familiar with the old Standard Oil service stations this place will feel familiar. The decor is amazing with old tires on a shelf above the bar; reminiscent of the old tire racks. The chandelier's are amazing. The food TOP NOTCH, a difficult food to make is an eggs Benedict and if you want to impress me then this is the meal, HOWEVER this is not your typical Eggs Benedict this one had brisket and WAS AMAZING, very juicy great flavor, eggs where poached to perfection. Also our group ordered French Toast which is WAY better then any chain breakfast restaurant. Chicken and Waffles BETTER then Taste of Belgium. Staff was friendly overall atmosphere amazing WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK

Definitely our go to spot for drinks! The food is pretty good also! Plenty of outside seating and inside seating for those cool evenings or humid summer nights! My wife loves the rice bowls. My go to is the Standard burger! If you like Bourbon Slushes you have to try theirs! Parking can be difficult at times but definitely worth a visit!

Don't overlook The Standard for breakfast. Their breakfast menu isn't huge, but all 5 in our party loved their selection. It was a wonderful and unexpected suprise, as we had just given up hope of getting in before dinner time at any of the rated breakfast places and were sadly headed to a chain restaurant. We happened to pass The Standard in route and made a bat turn. Glad we did. No idea why they weren't slammed, but they greeted us at the door and ushered us in to their so cool converted garage and great dinning experience. There are wrenches hanging from chandeliers and the owner is on the wallpaper. Fun, whimsical vibe with all kinds of oversized games to enjoy. Glad the waits at the other places were too long. Plenty of photos included.

Cute eclectic spot with flare . Activities such as ping pong and jumbo connect 4 . Drinks were strong ,food was good ,service was friendly and consistent. Will be back .

Ngl, I think I might have already given this place a 5-star review — I just don’t remember. But that feels like a good thing?! I LOVE it here. The food is actually incredible. I always order the Standard Wedge and a side of the cucumber salad. To drink, the Jungle Bird or Bees Knees (not on the menu anymore I don’t think, sorry!). My husband has tried the Chicken Caprese, Cauliflower Shawarma, and the Standard Burger and they are ALL 10/10. The fries are yummy too! All of the bartenders are kind, helpful, and attentive. The playlist is groovy and enjoyable. Imo, the vegetarian & gluten-free options are plentiful as well! The whole outdoor space is a major major plus, especially in the warmer weather! Highly recommend if you’re in the Cov :)

Stumbled on this place around 11:30 on a cloudy Saturday morning. All of the breakfast/brunch places were on an hour wait in the area. This place is AMAZING! The food was creative and perfectly cooked, tasted amazing, and Autumn was an extremely skillful waitress. Despite the rich flavors of the Braised Briskett with Poached Eggs, the food came out extremely fast for my table of 5. There was no wait! "We're really busy on Sundays but not Saturday for some reason." Do yourself a favor and get a way underpriced French Toast (they crumble a little cereal on top) that's cooked so perfectly it's almost custardy inside on a Saturday. Have an Abita rootbeer on draft. Hidden Gem on Saturdays apparently.
